A Walless Church

Working with a variety of fabrics, a small budget, a short build schedule, and the specific creative vision of designer Zamora Simmons-Styles, I was able to utilize my draping skills to bring to life the futuristic yet organic silhouettes imagined for this production. Each actress' specific blocking and performance required their wardrobes to work with their body instead of against it, which meant working and reworking almost every piece of clothing until it was perfectly fitted, comfortable, and representative of the performance onstage up until opening night.
